Emma Claire Schiller- Our Precocious Princess

Emma Claire Schiller was born on November 4, 2003. She is our oldest child and is quite spirited. There is never a dull moment with Emma around. Emma is our precocious princess who loves to perform (singing, dancing, gymnastics, piano, etc.) and is very creative. She likes to pretend that she is an adult and will "try" to act as one. The other day I was looking through some photo albums with her and she saw a picture of me from elementary school. Emma looked up at me and said, "Mom, this picture is a MASTERPIECE!" Thanks, Emma, for your kindness (...and if you saw the picture, you would know just how kind she was). Emma likes dressing up as a princess, the color red, candy, and princess movies. Emma start Kindergarten next month, and we're really going to miss her energy around here during the day. Emma, our lives would not be the same without you, and we're so glad that you're a part of our family!

Olivia Danielle Schiller - Our Sweet Princess

Livie Schiller was born on January 7, 2007. She is a sweet, energetic little girl who is as sweet as can be. She loves copying her big sister by word and by deed, and she dreams of being a princess/ballerina. Livie has just recently started showing her cute little personality and her vocabulary is really growing. We can understand her about 75% of the time. Livie has also been experimenting in how she wants to react while she's angry. My sweet little girl will make a low growling sound like, "Huhhh!" and then proceed by saying, "I don't care!", regardless of what the situation is. Usually I can get her to chill out by just laughing at her or asking her to make other animal sounds. I'm so thankful to have Livie as an important part of our family!

Zachary Ryan Schiller- Our Miracle Baby!

Zachary Ryan Schiller was born on June 7, 2009 at 7:21pm. He weighed 5lbs, 1.6 oz. and was 18 3/4 inches long. I call Zachary our miracle baby for a couple of reasons. First of all, he wasn't a planned baby...In fact, we were pretty well protected against having another baby (or so we thought)...But that wasn't going to stop our precious Zachary. Due to several potential complications at the beginning of this pregnancy, I was at a high risk for a miscarriage...But that wasn't going to stop our precious Zachary. During labor and delivery, his heart rate dropped so low that I was rushed into an emergency c-section for fear of his life (which was almost taken) and he was blue and lifeless upon tugging him out...But that wasn't going to stop our precious Zachary. He was sent to our family from our Heavenly Father for some very special reasons, and we are all very thankful to have him in our lives. I can't imagine not having him in our family, and I look forward to many, many experiences that we will have with him, Zachary Ryan Schiller, our miracle baby!

Jumpin' on the Bandwagon

Okay, so I'm officially following the crowd and starting my own blog. I've read others' blogs with enjoyment but have put off doing it myself for quite a while. I guess I figure that with three children now, I will for sure forget every moment of their childhoods unless I document it.

Our family is made up of my husband- Chris, myself- Alison, and our three little rascals- Emma (5 1/2), Olivie "Livie" (2 1/2), and Zachary (5 weeks). We have no pets, because I consider our three children to be pet-like enough for me! It's true...I feed them, bathe them, clean up behind them, and occasionally pet them on the head or behind their ears...That's pet-like, right?

So I hope that this blog will help me document many of our funny, strange, happy, sad (hopefully not too many of those), and just plain out crazy moments, because we are just that cool. After all, we are the Killer Schillers!
